You guys may already be more than aware of Bill Evans, but I thought I'd post a little plug for him here. His CD, Big Fun, Features Vinnie, which is one of my favorite CDs at the moment. No monumental Vinnie moments, but I don't think you could find more solid and interesting drumming out there. Evans also has a CD called Soul Insider, featuring Steve Jordan. The first cut, Van's Joynt is really great with Jordan doing a really unique job. Evan's live: Let the Juice Loose features Dennis Chambers and is also really excellent. if you haven't heard this stuff, you owe it to yourselves to make it a point.

I would say that "Petite Blonde" is his best CD so far. Definitely. Features Vic Bailey and Dennis Chambers, among others. In fact, it is one of Dennis' own favourites...

"Touch" is also a great album, in my opinion. Some nice Vinnie licks that opened my ears to new concepts.
